High School Seniors:

I recommend creating a few different looks:

CLASSIC: Typically includes solid colors, button down, or collared shirt for guys, blouse/sweater for gals, paired with either denim or khaki. Think timeless pieces that won't look dated in a few years.

TRENDY/CURRENT: This is your opportunity to shine. What's in style? Bring along accessories such as hats, jewelry, sunglasses, etc.

FAVORITE: This can include sports uniforms, cheerleading outfits, favorite T that your mom wants to burn, or other theme that reflects "you" at this time in your life. If you play a musical instrument, have a favorite pastime, etc., these can be included here.

*Don't forget to bring coordinating shoes! Gals, keep your makeup neutral (professional artists can make you feel fabulous), and don't forget your nails. Doesn't matter if painted... just clean.

TIP: If in doubt, bring it! I can help narrow down during our session.

AVOID: Sunburns & self-tanners (can look orange) prior to your session

Families:

Choose a few colors you like as well as a style. I like to start with a favorite item or inspirational piece and pull colors from it for the rest of the family. Taking the time of year in consideration is helpful when choosing colors to wear. For example, winter is a good time for reds, greys, black, creams, & flannel. It's okay to mix patterns & textures (examples below.) Pinterest is a great resource for family photo outfit inspiration. If in doubt, you can text me a photo of your ideas for feedback. I love putting outfits together!
